BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (PSYCHOLOGY)

Thai Program

​

We introduce our students to a variety of both basic and applied psychology modules such as clinical psychology, counseling psychology, developmental psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, and social psychology.

 

We also introduce our students to understand psychology in daily lives such as mental health, personality and adjustment and psychology of interpersonal relations.

Educational qualifications

A high school graduate or equivalent or are about to graduate in the upcoming academic year from high school

  • GPAX at least 2.50 or

  • GED score at least 165 in each subject with a total of 4 subjects at least 660

​

Health conditions

  • ​No blindness and color vision deficiency and other types of disabilities relevant to learning difficulties and study problems

​

Applied knowledge (A-Level) score administered by TCAS

Group 1​

Five A-Level subjects

  • A-Level 61 (Applied Mathematics 1)

  • A-Level 66 (ฺBiology)

  • A-Level 70 (Social Studies)

  • A-Level 81 (Thai)

  • A-Level 82 (English)

 

A minimum score in each subject is 30%.

Each subject accounts for 20% of overall score.


Group 2

Four A-Level subjects​

  • A-Level 70 (Social Studies)

  • A-Level 81 (Thai)

  • A-Level 82 (English)

  • and one of the following A-Level subjects

    • A-Level 62 (Applied Mathematics 2)

    • A-Level 83 (French)

    • A-Level 84 (German)

    • A-Level 85 (Japanese)

    • A-Level 86 (Korean)

    • A-Level 87 (Chinese)

    • A-Level 89 (Spanish)

 

A minimum score in each subject is 30%.

Each subject accounts for 25% of overall score.

 

Thai General Aptitude Test (TGAT) score administered by TCAS

Admission Requirements

As Thai program will be taught in Thai, the student must have more than intermediate level of Thai Language Skills.

Selection Criteria​

1. Non-Thai Nationality and have no residence in Thailand

2. Applicant must have completed high school Grade 12 or the equivalent.

  • Applicants taking the GED tests before May 2017 shall have GED results in 5 subjects, scoring at least 410 in each subject.

  • Applicants taking the GED tests since May 2017 BE onwards shall have GED results in 4 subjects, scoring at least 145 in each subject.

3. Applicants who expected to graduate or haven't received a high school certificate, or an equivalent by the time of admission. The applicants can submit the certificate within the date set by the university.
4. GPAX: not lower than 3.00 or the equivalent.

5. Language Proficency Test

  • TOEFL (iBT) = 60 or IELTS = 5.5

  • Thai Proficiency test = B1 Level (TU STAR Test)

2. Copy of Transcript or equivalent results (translated to Thai or English)
